Jose Manuel Cancio Trujillo, MD, PhD, is an experienced medical professional currently involved with the Research Group on Chronic Care and Innovation in Health (GRACIS) at Tecnocampus since June 2023. As Jefe clínico at Badalona Serveis Assistencials since 1996, significant contributions have been made to the field of medicine, complemented by extensive academic qualifications including a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery, several master's degrees in Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Sports Medicine, as well as a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Barcelona. Additional roles include participation in various medical organizations and projects, such as the APTITUDE project, and serving as a Board Collaborator with Avaluació de competències objectiva i estructurada (ACOE) and Societat Catalana de Geriatria i Gerontologia (SCGiG). Academic involvement continues at TecnoCampus, focusing on a Personal Docente Investigador (PDI) position in the Escuela Superior Ciencias de la Salud.
