James Lean

James Lean has extensive experience in corporate banking and financial services, currently serving as Industry Director - Large Corporate at Barclays Corporate Banking since June 2007. In this role, James leads a team focused on enhancing relationships with large corporate clients in various sectors across the South and East of England. Previous positions at Barclays include Head of Mid-Corporate and Relationship Director - Large Corporate, where James managed teams and secured key corporate partnerships. Additionally, James has held strategic roles at RBS WorldPay and Worldpay, building corporate sales and account management teams in the eCommerce and payment solutions sectors. Currently, James contributes as a Trustee Director for the Open Spaces Society, Britain’s oldest conservation charity. James earned a BA (hons) in Accounting and Finance from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
