Amaar Khan

Amaar Khan currently serves as the Managing Director and Chief Information Officer for Corporate Banking APAC & MENA at Barclays since October 2024. Prior to this role, Amaar held the position of Managing Director and Chief Information Officer & Head of Engineering for Asia Pacific at BNY from August 2019 to July 2024. Additionally, experience includes serving as Director and Global Head of Technology for Application & Technology Services at Bank of Singapore from February 2018 to July 2019, and as Director and Head of Technology for Technology Management Systems at Standard Chartered Bank from April 2015 to February 2018. Early in the career, Amaar was SVP and Head of Technology for Treasury & Trade Services (PS) APAC at Citi from January 2014 to April 2015. Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in International Business at the University of Sunderland, with expected completion in July 2025.
