Gary Craine

Gary Craine is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and business operations, currently serving as Group Head of Payroll, Reward and Performance Operations at Barclays Bank since October 2008. In this role, Gary is accountable for payroll and performance operations services for approximately 91,000 colleagues across the Barclays Group. Previously, Gary held various key positions at Barclays, including Director of MI and Reporting within the Chief Controls Office, and Head of Spend & Performance Management, overseeing substantial annual spend and complex procurement processes. Prior to Barclays, Gary worked at Ericsson as Strategic Sourcing Manager and Business Process Improvement Manager, and began a career in engineering as a Design Engineer at Bruce Anchor Ltd. Gary holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
