João Silva

João Silva is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in front-end and back-end engineering within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the FX Lead UI Engineer, Vice President at Barclays since May 2023, João has previously held significant roles at UBS as FX Senior UI Engineer, where the focus was on the architecture and development of the FX Trading platform and related applications. Prior to that, experiences at Lloyds Banking Group included senior roles in web engineering, where João architected and developed scalable applications and microservices. João's career also includes a position at Goldman Sachs, contributing to the development of applications for various trading desks. João holds a Master's degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering from Faculdade Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
