Katharine Braddick

Katharine Braddick is an experienced financial services professional currently serving as the Group Head of Strategic Policy and advisor to the CEO at Barclays since March 2022. Prior to this role, Braddick held various significant positions at HM Treasury, including Director General and Director of Financial Services from June 2014 to December 2021. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Prudential Policy at the Prudential Regulation Authority and Head of Banking Policy at the Financial Services Authority. Braddick's career also includes a position as Head of general insurance regulation and personal lines at the Association of British Insurers. Educationally, Braddick earned a Master of Philosophy in Medieval and Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge and a BA Hons in History from the University of Warwick.
