Liza Russell

Liza Russell is an accomplished professional in the field of information security and compliance, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for Consumer Banking & Payments at Barclays since August 2022. Prior to this role, Liza held significant positions at BNP Paribas, including Managing Director and Deputy CISO for CIB Americas and Director - Head of Data Security for CIB from September 2017 to August 2022. Liza's experience also includes serving as the Deputy Privacy and Data Protection Officer at BNY Mellon | Pershing, a Business Compliance Officer at Aetna, and the Director of Regulatory Compliance and Affairs at Atlantis Health Plan. Liza holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics from Rutgers University.
