Vinay Somani

Vinay Somani is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President at Barclays since October 2017, after previously holding the title of Associate Vice President. Prior to Barclays, Vinay worked at Nomura as a Risk Manager, focusing on regulatory reporting from a market risk perspective. Vinay's career also includes roles at Deloitte as a Risk Management Consultant and at HDFC Life as a Risk Manager, where responsibilities involved enhancing risk controls and managing investment risk. Vinay began a career in risk management at ICICI Group and gained initial experience as an Industrial Trainee at Lehman Brothers. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai. Vinay is currently pursuing CFA Level 2 with the CFA Institute, USA.
