Jana Vanderheijden

Jana Vanderheijden currently serves as an NPI Project Manager at Barco since April 2022. Previously, Jana held multiple roles at AGC Glass Europe from September 2011 to January 2021, including Glassiled Operations Manager, Glassiled Quality Manager, and R&D researcher. As Operations Manager, Jana oversaw all production processes, managed a multidisciplinary team, and handled project management with significant budgets. Jana's earlier experience includes a PhD research position at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, focusing on the development of a photonic biosensor for water microbiological screening in Rwanda, along with an internship at the Rwandan Ministry of Health. Jana's educational background includes a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Photonics and Electronics, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences and Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
