Molly Freitas

Molly Freitas, Ph.D., currently serves as the Associate Dean of Studies and Visiting Assistant Professor of Humanities at Bard College, where responsibilities include advising students navigating academic policy exceptions and collaborating on academic policy formulations. Prior roles include Assistant Dean of First-Year Students at Bard College, Associate Director at Beyond Barnard at Barnard College, and Assistant Professor of English and Deputy Director of the Scholarship Program at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where notable achievements include mentoring over 75 successful scholarship recipients. Additional experience encompasses positions at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Emerson College, Tufts University, and Oxford University Press, with a strong academic foundation demonstrated by a Ph.D. in Literature from Tufts University and various degrees in literature and publishing from distinguished institutions.
