Derek Sylvia

Derek Sylvia is a Senior Associate at BR+A Consulting Engineers with a background in fire protection engineering. Prior to their current role, Derek worked at TRO and Building Engineering Resources Inc. with titles ranging from Fire Protection Engineer to Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer. Derek also has experience in designing underfloor power systems and modular wiring products. Derek earned a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering & Safety Engineering from Eastern Kentucky University and an Associate's Degree in Fire Science Technology from Bristol Community College.
