Ryan Donovan works as a Senior Associate at BR+A Consulting Engineers since September 2014. Prior to that, Ryan held positions as an Associate and HVAC Engineer at the same company. Ryan also worked as a Summer Intern at National Grid in June 2013 and as a Research Engineer at Ford Motor Company in May 2012. Ryan completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech from 2012 to 2014 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mathematics at Elon University from 2009 to 2012. Ryan graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School in 2009.

BR+A was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1975 by Gene Bard, Arjun Rao, and Ted Athanas. With just 11 MEP design engineers and a few rooms packed with drafting tables, they built a firm that would become respected for solid engineering and even stronger relationships. Over the past four decades, we’ve been through a few transitions. While many things have changed, a lot is still the same. Today, we operate eight offices nationwide and employ hundreds of dedicated team members, but we are still proud to be an employee-owned firm. And although we’ve traded our drafting tables for BIM, AutoCAD and Revit, we continue to make MEP excellence the core of our practice—while helping our clients explore innovative design solutions.
