Ioannis Charalampidis has been working in the tech industry since 2010. Ioannis began their career at CERN as a Summer Student in 2010, then worked as a Technical Student & Project Associate from 2011-2013. During this time, they developed a distributed workflow system and a web application. From 2013-2016, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Mesosphere. In 2020, they became a Co-Founder & CTO at Kudzu Technologies and a Founding Engineer & Engineering Lead at Bardeen. Additionally, they were a CERN OpenLab Fellow from 2013-2016, during which they extended the nanomsg library and worked with CISCO and the ALICE experiment.

Ioannis Charalampidis obtained a degree in Architecture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) between 2005 and 2013. Ioannis then went on to pursue a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree in Information System MSc from Elliniko Anoikto Panepistimio between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, Ioannis Charalampidis obtained a Zertifikat Deutch B2 certification from Goethe-Institut e.V. in September 2010, and an Autodesk 3DS Max 2009 Advanced certification from Autodesk in September 2008.
