Sean Phelan

Sean Phelan has a diverse work experience in various industries. Sean started their career as a Spring Intern at Nielsen in 2013. Sean then worked as an Athletic Marketing Assistant at UConn Athletics from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they joined McLagan (subsidiary of Aon Hewitt) as a Consulting Summer Analyst - Wealth Management Team. Sean later worked as a Portfolio Management Summer Analyst at Conning in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Credit Research Assistant at Loomis, Sayles & Company. Currently, Sean holds the position of Vice President at Bardin Hill Investment Partners LP, starting from 2018.

Sean Phelan attended Ridgefield High School from 2009 to 2013. Sean then pursued higher education at the University of Connecticut School of Business from 2013 to 2017, studying Finance. In 2015, they also attended University College Dublin for a brief period, focusing on Finance, General. Additionally, Sean Phelan participated in the CFA Institute 2016 Research Challenge as a Regional Participant.
