FOH/RF/Com Broadcast Systems Engineer at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship

Jan Klinge has a diverse range of work experience in the audio engineering and production field. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Production Director and Promotions Manager at CLUB 600 NORTH, where they were responsible for booking national acts and managing an annual budget. From 2000 to 2011, they worked for the City of Orlando, initially as a Senior A1 and Crew Lead at Camping World Stadium and later as a Full-Time A1, Crew Leader, and Systems Engineer at Amway Arena. During their time with the City of Orlando, they provided A/V support for various events and clients, including the Orlando Magic and Live Nation. Jan then worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer at LMG, LLC from 2015 to 2018, and at Production Resource Group from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they started working at ESI-Productions as an A1/V1 Project Manager, where they were in charge of quality control, gear repair, and also served as the Front of House and Monitors engineer for large shows in Tampa. Most recently, Jan joined the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in 2021 as a FOH/RF/Com Broadcast Systems Engineer.

Jan Klinge's education history includes the following:

In 1992-1994, Jan Klinge obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from DBCC.

In 1996-1997, Jan Klinge attended ARTI and became a Certified REA Audio Engineer, specializing in Recording Arts Technology/Technician.

In 1996-2017, Jan Klinge pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Recording Engineering, with a major market experience in audio, video systems, and troubleshooting technical and customer issues. Jan Klinge also gained fluency in PC and Mac computers during this period.

In 1999, Jan Klinge completed Dale Carnegie's Secrets of Success course, which focused on effective communication, persuasion, and leadership skills.

In 2015, Jan Klinge obtained a Certification in SoundVision, Network Manager, and Kara systems from L' Acoustic's.

In 2018, Jan Klinge earned a Certification in Live L500, L300, L200, and L100 Consoles from Solid State Logic.

Jan Klinge also has additional certifications in Dante Level 1 Certification from Audinate and SoundVision LA Network Manager & Kara Systems from L'acoustics.
