Jamaica Stevens

Jamaica Stevens is an accomplished author, consultant, and community bookseller with extensive experience in early childhood education and literacy promotion. Since 2007, Jamaica has been a Barefoot Books Community Bookseller, passionately advocating for literacy through various programs with JAMaROO Kids. Key achievements include authoring "Yoga Adventure!" and producing its music, serving as an education consultant, hosting numerous successful book fairs, and conducting teacher workshops. As the Founder and CEO of JAMaROO Kids, established in 2004, Jamaica has driven growth and adaptation in early childhood education programs. Previously, Jamaica spent over seven years at ABC Academy Preschool, taking on roles from teacher to after-school program director. Jamaica holds certifications in Early Childhood Education along with an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from the College of Marin.
