Kayla Rickford

Kayla Rickford is an experienced Research Technician at Barenbrug USA since May 2017, where responsibilities include developing seed blending prediction models, conducting endophyte testing, designing cross-pollination structures, and maintaining professional relationships with various stakeholders. Kayla has also played a key role in safety inspections and corporate safety committee meetings while overseeing office and farm supplies. Prior experience includes a Harvest Intern position at Benton Lane Winery, where sorting and processing fruit was essential, and work with Oregon State University's Wheat Research Program as a Student Worker, facilitating various research activities. Additional experience as a Student Field Technician involved measuring stream velocity and depth, troubleshooting field challenges. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecological Engineering from Oregon State University, completed in 2015.
