Daniel Spann

Daniel J. Spann, PE, PTOE, currently serves as the Sr. Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Barge Design Solutions, Inc., a position held since March 2015, where Daniel J. also takes on the role of Transportation Director. Additionally, since May 2013, Daniel has contributed to Northwestern University Center for Public Safety as an Adjunct Instructor. Prior experience includes serving as a Professional Engineer at RPM Transportation Consultants, LLC from November 2004 to February 2015, and as an Engineering Intern at Ragan Smith Associates, Inc. from 1997 to 2000. Daniel holds an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, completed in December 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University, earned in 1996. Educational background also includes attendance at David Lipscomb High School from 1988 to 1991.
