Robert Lux

Robert Lux, LS, RLS, PLS, currently serves as the Senior Geomatics Manager at Barge Design Solutions, Inc. since December 2019, and previously held the position of Survey Department Manager at SAM Companies from October 2017 to November 2019. With extensive experience in geomatics, Robert's career includes significant roles such as Technology Director for the National Geomatics Division at Atkins from September 2005 to October 2017, where responsibilities encompassed managing a wide range of survey projects and data management. Earlier experience includes positions as a Field Crew Coordinator and Survey Technician at Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc., as well as roles as Party Chief at both Appalachian Surveying Engineering and Planning and WK Dickson & Co., Inc. Robert's foundational skills in surveying were developed during earlier roles as an Instrument Operator at TVGA Consultants. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Surveying Engineering from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology in 1998.
