Tyler Gay

Tyler Gay, PE, is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a robust background in mechanical engineering, currently serving at Barge Design Solutions since March 2024. Prior experience includes holding the same title at Ghafari Associates from July 2018 to March 2024 and serving as a Mechanical Engineer at SSOE from April 2012 to July 2018. Tyler's engineering career began at CRS Engineering, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer from July 2011 to April 2012 and as a Graduate Student Engineer at the Alabama Industrial Assessment Center, where energy-saving consultations were provided to industrial manufacturing facilities from August 2010 to July 2011. Additionally, Tyler worked as a Project Engineer at CMC Impact Metals from May 2008 to July 2009. Tyler holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama.
