Jennifer Maritz

Jennifer Maritz has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jennifer started their career at IBM, where they held various roles within IBM Finance from 1997 to 2005. Jennifer then served as the CFO for Asia Pacific at IBM from 2005 to 2007, leading finance teams across the region and establishing back office support teams for new offshore business units.

Following their time at IBM, Jennifer Maritz joined Nvoi Limited in 2016 as the CEO & Executive Director. During their tenure, they assessed the market, recruited and developed a team, and prepared a scalable strategy. Jennifer also collaborated with IBM to provide additional software functionality to enhance value.

In 2019, Jennifer Maritz joined Barhead Solutions as the Head of Sales. Their role involved educating prospects, clients, and potential recruits on the capabilities of the Microsoft stack for solving business problems. In 2021, they transitioned into the role of General Manager - Finance and Operations Solutions, focusing on finance and operations solutions for the company.

Throughout their career, Jennifer Maritz has demonstrated expertise in complex deal development and closure, business case development, pricing models, strategy development, cost savings, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, F&A outsourcing solutions, global productivity improvement, and team development.

Jennifer Maritz completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1981 to 1983. Jennifer then pursued their Chartered Accountant certification from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, which they completed from 1997 to 2020. In 2016 and 2017, Jennifer attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they obtained a GAICD certification in Company Director focused on Corporate Governance and Risk Management. Before their tertiary education, Jennifer completed their high school education at Epworth High School in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, from 1976 to 1980.
