Jean Jacques Maurel has over 30 years of experience in commercial sales and business development within the food industry. Currently serving as Responsable commercial Food Service at Barilla Group since January 2005, Jean Jacques manages the sales force in France, focusing on the negotiation of major national accounts. Previously held roles at Barilla include Responsable des ventes zone Sud France and Responsable des ventes régionales Sud-Est, with responsibilities encompassing B2B client portfolio management, regional annual agreement negotiations, and participation in national trade shows. Prior to Barilla, Jean Jacques worked at Pescanova as Responsable régional quart Sud-Est and at PepsiCo as Chef de secteur Languedoc-Roussillon, promoting Tropicana juices in supermarkets and launching the refrigerated line in France. Jean Jacques holds a BTS Actions Commerciales from IDRAC Business School and a Baccalauréat Economique et Social from lycée Jean Mermoz in Montpellier.
