Chasity Boyce

Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Barings

Chasity Boyce is Barings’ Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, responsible for driving the firm’s diversity outcomes by focusing on recruiting, talent development, retention and policies to build an inclusive workplace. She is a member of Barings’ Senior Leadership Team.

She joined Barings from Heitman LLC, a real estate investment management firm, where she served as Vice President, Head of Inclusion and Diversity. Prior to Heitman, Chasity spent three years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP as Diversity and Inclusion Manager and was the Associate General Counsel to Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner.

An Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago’s School of Law since 2016, Chasity is focused on diversity in the law profession, and is Co-Founder and Founding Board Member of the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program (DAPP). She serves on a number of boards and community organizations, including the Women’s Bar Foundation and the Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Board of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism.

Chasity received her A.B. in Public Policy from Duke University and her J.D. from Howard University School of Law.
