Oliver Harker-Smith

Oliver Harker-Smith serves as a Managing Director at Barings since August 2010, focusing on European High Yield and CLO portfolio management. Prior to this role, Oliver worked at Barclays Capital from February 2007 to September 2010, holding positions in Credit Sales and Private Leveraged Finance Syndicate, where responsibilities included managing client relationships, facilitating credit transactions, and conducting market analysis. Oliver began a career in trading at Capital Advisors Group from September 2005 to June 2006, specializing in high-grade fixed income securities. Oliver holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and A-Levels in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry from Millfield School.
