Christina Powers

Christina Powers has a diverse work experience in different design roles. Christina started their career as an In-House Designer at Metrotainment Cafes from April 2013 to August 2018. Christina then worked as a Graphic Designer at Hughes Media, Inc. from August 2018 to March 2020. Following that, they became a Yoga Instructor at Giving Tree Yoga Studio from July 2020 to April 2021. Christina then transitioned back to design roles, joining Ammunition as a Graphic Designer from February 2021 to April 2022. Christina then served as an In-House Visual Designer at BrightEdge, a leading SEO solution and content performance marketing platform, from May 2022 to December 2022. Currently, Christina holds the position of Senior Designer at Barkley starting from January 2023.

Christina Powers has a diverse education history spanning various fields. Christina obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Design from Central Michigan University, where they attended from 2006 to 2012. In 2018, Christina enrolled in General Assembly and completed a course in HTML & CSS. During the same time, they also pursued studies in JavaScript & JQuery at General Assembly. In 2019 to 2020, Christina expanded their skills by becoming a 200-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Teacher Training program at Giving Tree Yoga in Smyrna, Georgia. Furthermore, they acquired the FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot certification in June 2018.
