Prior experience includes working as a Maintenance Supervisor at Saudi Cable Company from November 1991 to March 1998 and as a Telecom Field Engineer at Egyptian Petroleum Pipeline from November 1987 to November 1991, focusing on field support for microwave communication networks. Zakaria Hussien earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Telecommunications Engineering from Ain Shams University between 1979 and 1984.
