Jay Kollegal

Jay Kollegal is an experienced data professional currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering and Analytics at LIBERTY Dental Plan since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jay worked at UnitedHealth Group from 2018 to 2023 as the Senior Director of Data Analytics - Business Performance Management. At Assurant, from 2013 to 2017, Jay held the position of Director of Business Intelligence, where responsibilities included consolidating BI teams and developing analytical reports for executive use. Jay also served as a Senior Consulting Information Architect at Capital Group | American Funds in 2013, collaborating with a third-party vendor on data management. Earlier experience includes a tenure as Director of Data Engineering & Business Intelligence at First American Financial Corporation from 1999 to 2013, where Jay established a Data Lake and developed web services for data handling.
