Jeff Lobach started their work experience in 1980 as a Summer Associate at Mesirov, Gelman, Jaffe, Cramer & Jamieson. Jeff then moved on to work at the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as Chief Law Clerk from 1981 to 1983. In 1983, they joined Barley Snyder LLP as an Experienced Transactional Lawyer and eventually became the Managing Partner and CEO in 2014.

Jeff Lobach attended York Suburban High School from 1970 to 1974, where they earned their high school diploma. Jeff then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors in American Studies at Lehigh University from 1974 to 1978. Following their undergraduate studies, Jeff Lobach attended the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 1978 to 1981, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
