Josh Phifer

Founder & CEO at Barn Owl Tech

Josh Phifer is the founder and CEO of Barn Owl Tech. Josh previously served in the US Air Force Reserve from June 2005 to May 2015, where they were a Division Commander for F-22 Operational Test and Evaluation. In this role, they were responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, technology integration, and project management. Josh also instructed pilots and oversaw the development and testing of emerging hardware, software, and weapons for the F-22. Prior to their time in the Air Force, Josh studied at the Air Force Academy from January 1999 to December 2003.

Josh Phifer's educational career began with a Bachelor's in Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy. Josh then went on to earn a Master's in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Finally, they earned their MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School.
