Joe Dufresne

Joe Dufresne is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in various roles within academic and corporate environments. Currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Barnard College since February 2022, Joe also leads Dufresne Data Security, LLC as President and Information Security Consultant. Previous positions include Information Security Manager at the University of Minnesota, Information Security Consultant at Macalester College, and multiple roles at Allianz Life where responsibilities encompassed data privacy and information security oversight. Joe's career began at Best Buy Co, Inc. and has included significant contributions to IT security and incident management across diverse organizations. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.
