Dawn Dobson

With 30 years of experience in tunneling and underground mining, Dawn Dobson understands the complexities of the underground construction industry. In Business Development, she conducts client outreach regarding future projects, coordinates with joint venture partners, and prepares qualification and proposal packages.

Dawn joined Barnard in 2016 after working for another North American civil contractor for nearly 20 years. Throughout her career, she has held various supervisory and engineering roles on large, complex transportation and water/wastewater projects, ranging from Field Engineer on up to Project Manager. Dawn’s involvement in both bidding and constructing underground work throughout the U.S. provides a “whole picture” view when meeting with their clients.

She earned a B.S. in Mining Engineering from Montana Technological University in 1992.
