Tyler Sherer has a diverse range of work experience in the construction industry. Tyler began their career as an intern at Purdue University Physical & Capital Planning in 2013. Shortly after, they joined Barnard Construction as an Estimator, where they gained experience in estimating construction costs. Tyler then worked as a Field Engineer at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction and Com-Tech Construction Inc. In 2014, they returned to Barnard Construction as a Project Engineer/ Superintendent. In this role, they oversaw various projects, such as hydroelectric dam structural modifications and the construction of a watertight hydroelectric powerhouse. Tyler handled tasks such as scheduling, managing submittals, and dealing with change orders. Tyler's work experience highlights their expertise in project management and structural construction.
From 2010 to 2015, Tyler Sherer attended Purdue University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management.
