Ben provides Scheme Actuary and consulting advice to a range of clients. Whilst triennial valuations remain a key regulatory process, Ben helps clients in a range of consultancy areas.
He has also recently helped clients add value through their approach to governance – for example using Integrated Risk Management to take a fresh look at the most important high level issues facing the Scheme and then suggesting possible changes to practices to help mitigate those.
Ben takes great pleasure in helping clients through the particular issues that they face, which are always different, and building long-term relationships.
Ben graduated from Birmingham University with a degree in Mathematical Science in 2000 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 2006. Ben joined Barnett Waddingham in 2001 and became a partner of the firm in 2013.
