Edward Spencer

Edward is a Scheme Actuary and provides actuarial and pensions consultancy advice to a diverse portfolio of trustee clients. His work also includes investment consultancy advice and advising companies on their pension arrangements.

Edward has particular expertise in assisting clients with funding issues and the proactive management of the actuarial valuation process. He is interested in developing coordinated funding and investment strategies with a clear focus on the clients’ objectives.

He acts as Scheme Actuary to a wide range of clients ranging in size from less than £10 million to over £200 million. This includes an appointment as Scheme Actuary to a trustee operating more than a dozen separate defined benefit (DB) arrangements. Edward’s clients include traditional final salary arrangements as well as career average and cash balance schemes.
