Robert advises a number of trustees and sponsors on their pension schemes. This includes Scheme Actuary duties, consultancy and investment advice for Defined Benefit arrangements.

Robert’s experience and consulting skills help him navigate schemes of all sizes through the challenges of the pensions environment. Clear, pragmatic and proportionate advice is appreciated by both trustees and sponsors.

Robert has also worked closely with the Pension Protection Fund on a wide range of issues and has worked with the European Actuarial network (EURACS). Robert is the Finance Partner for Barnett Waddingham.

Robert graduated from Birmingham University with a degree in Mathematics and joined Garvins in 1997. Robert qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2001. Garvins joined Barnett Waddingham in 2008 at which time Robert became a partner.
