Azhar Iqbal

Azhar Iqbal has a strong background in IT management and leadership. Azhar started their career at York College in 1997, where they held the role of IT Systems and Services Manager. In this position, Azhar was responsible for defining the vision and strategic direction of IT within the organization and ensuring its successful implementation. Azhar used their extensive experience and expertise to ensure that IT was utilized as an enabler for the college, developing and maintaining systems and processes to meet organizational requirements. In 2019, Azhar joined Barnsley College as the Director of IT, a role in which they continue to contribute their knowledge and expertise to the organization.

Azhar Iqbal attended Northumbria University from 1989 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
