Katy Ashworth

Katy Ashworth currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board for ASHA Neighbourhood Project since November 2022 and holds the position of Project Officer at Barnsley Council since December 2020. Katy has a history of community engagement, having worked as a Community Development Worker at Northern College for Adults from April 2018 to October 2020, and as an Attendance Improvement Officer at Greenmount Primary School between October 2016 and December 2017. Previous roles include Community Outreach Development Worker and NEET Caseworker at Leeds City College from August 2011 to September 2016, with a brief stint as Learning Support in 2010. Katy's educational background includes a BTEC in Media Production from Kirklees College, a Bachelor's degree in Media & Popular Culture from Leeds Beckett University, and postgraduate certificates in the lifelong learning sector from The University of Huddersfield.
