Brian Neigut

Brian joined Baron in 2021 as a research analyst and has 26 years of research experience. Prior to joining Baron, he worked at Millennium Capital Management as a senior analyst and assistant portfolio manager. From 2007 to 2018 he was employed at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, first as a research analyst, then as a co-portfolio manager and senior portfolio manager of funds focused on software, internet, and other technology-related industries. From 1995 to 2007, he worked as a research analyst covering technology across sell-side and buy-side firms. From 1988 to 1992, he was on active duty in the U.S. Army Special Forces and is a decorated combat veteran. Brian graduated magna cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University with a B.B.A. in Finance in 1995 and was a Fulbright Research Scholar from 1995 to 1997 in Europe.
