Andy McCabe

Andy McCabe is an experienced Environmental Engineer currently working at Barr Engineering Co. since January 2018. McCabe has served as a Teaching Specialist at the University of Minnesota, instructing courses in Environmental Water Chemistry and Chemistry of Organic Pollutants during the 2023-2024 academic year. Previous academic experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota from September 2012 to September 2017, where significant work involved surface water sample collection, water chemistry analyses, and data analysis. Earlier experiences include a position as a Student Worker at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, focusing on pesticide extraction. McCabe holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and dual bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
