Nicholas Nelson

Nicholas Nelson has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 as a Systems Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, where they customized supply chain and procurement software and provided recommendations for a chemical manufacturer. Nicholas then worked as an Environmental/Process Engineer at Barr from 2001 to 2008, consulting on flue gas desulfurization system design, drafting environmental permit applications, and developing water treatment protocols. In 2008, they briefly served as an Attorney at Balcomb & Green. Currently, they hold multiple roles at Barr Engineering Co., including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President.

Nicholas Nelson obtained their Juris Doctor degree in American/U.S. Law/Legal Studies/Jurisprudence from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from 1996 to 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Nicholas is an inactive Colorado Licensed Attorney recognized by the Colorado Supreme Court, and they are an active Minnesota Licensed Attorney acknowledged by the Minnesota Supreme Court.
