Sara Ramsden

Sara Ramsden, P.E. is a Vice President and Principal at Barr Engineering Co., where Sara has worked since June 2006, primarily managing environmental assessment and remediation projects at Superfund sites and brownfield redevelopments. With significant experience collaborating with both private and public clients, Sara addresses soil and groundwater contamination issues. Prior to this role, Sara served as an Environmental Engineer at the same company, managing the investigation and cleanup of the New Brighton Exchange brownfields redevelopment area in Minnesota. Earlier in her career, Sara held the position of Environmental Engineer at The Source Group, focusing on petroleum-impacted soil and groundwater contamination at retail gasoline stations. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Minnesota.
