Tyler Fincher

Tyler Fincher is a Civil Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. since June 2012, primarily serving as a field engineer on wind turbine and hydroelectric projects, with experience in surveying and storm tunnel investigation, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D. Tyler has a strong background in coaching, having worked with the International Graduate Teaching Assistants Assistance Program from August 2008 to December 2011 to improve communication skills among international teaching assistants by developing personalized curricula. Prior engineering internships with the Indian Health Service from 2009 to 2011 involved responsibilities such as land surveying, construction inspection, environmental review, and project presentations. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, completed in 2011.
