Lien Gong

Lien Gong, P.E., Ph.D., has over 18 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, currently serving as a Civil Structural Project Discipline Engineer at Black & Veatch since June 2005. Lien has held various roles within the company, progressing from Structural Engineer to Lead Civil/Structural Engineer and Assistant Civil/Structural Project Discipline Engineer. Prior to this, Lien was a Research Assistant at the University of Kansas from 2000 to 2005. Lien earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas - School of Engineering between 2004 and 2006.
