Grizel Lopez

Grizel Lopez currently serves as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Barracuda, a position held since September 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing data and ML engineering teams to develop data platforms for customer 360 and product-led growth initiatives. Prior to this role, Grizel held the title of Director of Engineering at Barracuda, successfully building high-performing scrum teams. Grizel’s earlier experience includes a tenure at Symantec from May 2000 to September 2014, where roles ranged from Sr. Manager of Software Development to Sr. Principal Software Engineer, with notable achievements in leading Agile teams and obtaining a US Patent for a data protection system. Grizel began a career at Wipro Infotech as a Sr. Software Engineer, focusing on enhancements for the NCR MP-RAS UNIX operating system. Grizel holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
