Sivaraman Kannan

Sivaraman Kannan is an experienced software engineering leader with over 13 years at Barracuda, where roles have included Director of Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and Engineering Manager, focusing on the WAF Control Center and API framework enhancements. Sivaraman has also served as Principal Software Engineer, leading the App Sec Control Center and architecting the REST API specification for the Barracuda Web Application Firewall. Prior experience includes a position as Software Engineer at Cisco Systems, specializing in feature development for the Cisco PIX/ASA firewall. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Networking from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai.
