Claude (CJ) Valle

CJ Valle has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Beginning in 2010, CJ worked as an Associate Robotics Engineer at Barrett Technology, where they designed and built a cable strength/endurance tester and created a support website. In 2011, CJ joined Case Western Reserve University Baja Team as the Captain and Drivetrain Designer, managing a team of 20 and contributing to the design and build of an off-road vehicle. This role resulted in increased attendance at national competitions, budget growth, and weight reduction of the vehicle. Later in 2011, CJ became the Chief Operating Officer and Lead Engineer at Sprav Water LLC, focusing on the engineering, design, and manufacturing of a water-saving consumer electronics device. Working with a team of five, CJ successfully developed the product. In 2013, CJ had a Co-op position at Philips where they designed tests and evaluated coating for CT machines. CJ also reviewed and corrected records in an FDA-compliant environment and designed laser mounts for improved positioning accuracy. In 2014, CJ took on the role of an Associate R&D Engineer at rapid prototype and manufacturing, developing advanced printers and supporting over $1M in R&D projects. Joining Barrett Technology again in 2015, CJ served as a Robotics Engineer, Engineering and Operations Manager, Vice President of Engineering and Operations, and currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer. Overall, CJ Valle has extensive experience in robotics, engineering, leadership, and product development across multiple companies.

Claude (CJ) Valle began their education at Weston High School from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Claude (CJ) then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, from 2010 to 2015.
