Prior experience includes a 22-year tenure at the U.S. Coast Guard, where Virgil held various positions including General Engineer and Quality Assurance Program Manager, achieving a high operational availability and overseeing multimillion-dollar projects. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Thomas Edison State University and multiple associate degrees in engineering-related fields.
