Kamwale Banda

Kamwale Banda is a seasoned Human Resources professional currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Officer - Compensation and HRIS at Barrick Gold Corporation since July 2023. Kamwale leads the implementation of the Xtime Employee Time Attendance System and oversees HRIS-related projects, while also focusing on enhancing compensation and benefits programs. Previously held various HR roles, including Specialist - Rewards & HRMI and Human Resources Business Partner at FQM Zambia, and HR Operations and MI Analyst at First Quantum Minerals, where responsibilities included managing People Services MI reports and reward management support. Kamwale's experience also encompasses roles at Dangote Cement Zambia, SINOHYDRO GROUP LIMITED, and Riverbed Limited Zambia, along with a background in IT support and training. An alumnus of Rusangu University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computers Management and Information Systems, Kamwale is currently pursuing dual MBAs in Human Resource Management at the University of Zambia.
