Rodrigo Alonso

Rodrigo Alonso is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax management and compliance across various organizations. Since August 2014, Rodrigo has held multiple roles at Barrick Gold Corporation, culminating in the position of Senior Tax Director, where the focus has been on supporting internal control processes and ensuring adherence to tax regulations. Prior to this, Rodrigo worked at ExxonMobil from September 2010 to July 2014 as the Indirect Tax Group Supervisor, successful in migrating tax compliance responsibilities and enhancing reporting processes. Experience also includes serving as Tax Supervisor at Gestion Compartida and Tax and Accounting Senior Analyst at Nobleza Piccardo - British American Tobacco, in addition to a foundational role at Deloitte Argentina. Rodrigo holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires, completed in 2006.
