Kevin Mertens

Kevin Mertens is an experienced construction professional currently serving as Director of Pre-Construction at Barringer Construction since January 2018, leading estimating and pre-construction efforts in the greater Triangle region. Previously, Kevin held the position of Senior Estimator at JLL, where responsibilities included cost management for the Cisco account and support for capital projects across the Americas. At Danis Construction Company from June 2010 to December 2016, Kevin worked as a Project Manager, specializing in preconstruction activities and assisting clients with various project phases. Kevin's early career includes roles as a Co-op Student at Danis Building Construction Company and an Estimator/Site Laborer at The Henning Company, where foundational tasks in project estimation and management were undertaken. Kevin earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2010.
